No. Arizona allows direct access appointments with a healthcare provider, which means you can schedule an appointment without a physician referral. If we feel medical imaging or supplemental options would improve the direction of your care, we’ll work together to make it happen.

No. Southwest Performance accepts HSA/FSA plans, along with self-pay options. This allows us to provide longer, one-on-one appointments without the restrictions, rushed visits, or limited care that insurance often dictates.
Many patients find they get better results with this model. We can also provide a receipt (superbill) if you’d like to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

We pride ourselves in staying up to date with the current research regarding best practices and clinical guidelines regarding all services provided at Southwest Performance. Treatment plans are intentionally created with optimal healing and growth in mind.

Some treatments may feel intense at times, especially over irritated tissue. However, all treatment is performed within your tolerance. Most patients find that any short-term discomfort leads to noticeable relief afterward.

If you need to cancel, please be courteous and notify your clinician at least 24 hours before your appointment. We understand that unplanned life events can occur at any moment, all we ask is that you make an effort to communicate as timely as you can.
If your inability to follow through with your appointment is unjustified (e.g. poor time management), you will be invoiced a $50 cancellation fee.
